VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a system for using the internet for Voice, facsimile and voice messaging applications. Instead of using PSTN(public switched telephone network) the voice information is converted to digital signals and passed over the internet using standard IP packets. Utilising this technology greatly reduces the cost of the voice traffic and can create huge savings on telephone Bills.

Ways VoIP can be implemented

1.    Use a VoIP adaptor connecting your current phone systems directly to VoIP, keep your current systems but halve your phone bill.

2.    Dedicated VoIP phones that connect directly to your Ethernet link.

3.    Using software on your computer and a headset/microphone (not recommended).

4.    Set up VoIP on your mobile phone and whenever you are near a wireless internet connection all your calls are over the internet (Only valid with specific mobile phones).

5.    Set up a dedicated IP PBX business solution, with all the functions and features. This is what a large amount of corporations are implementing to reduce their costs and produce the quality solutions they require.

Setting up phones for self installation will be done FREE at Bajtech (we will configure the phone so that you can plug it into your Modem/Switch, this does not ensure that your switch and modem has Quality Of Service (QOS) enabled, you are expected to look after the rest of the network and internet connection or we can help you with the set at our hourly rate).

If on-site installation and configuration is required our hourly rate is $60/hr.
